Halil İbrahim Kurtsoy worked as a lithographer at Osman Printing House (Çağlayan) between 1925-1955. Lithography is the beginning of modern offset printing. The lithography technique is based on repulsion of oil and water. Here is an example published by Halil İbrahim Kurtsoy.
The commercial life of our company starts with the title of Altay Paper-Box Factory.
At ALTAY Box Factory, which was established by Ali Haydar Kurtsoy, son of Halil İbrahim Kurtsoy, we mainly produced medicine boxes and medicine separators. We did not have a printing machine yet. The contract manufactured label was ordered and pasted on the box manually.
In 1961, the first letterpress printing machine went into operation.
In 1971, the first offset machine went into operation.
In 1998, we made our first export to Bulgaria. We are still working with the company which we made our first export.
In 2006, we started the production of micro-coated packaging with our investments in micro-corrugated production line.
In 2009, we changed our legal form and introduced our new global brand “AL OFSET PACKAGING CO.”
In 2011, we installed our 6 color printing machine with the size of 100x140 printing ability.
In 2014, we moved and started production in our new factory with an area of 11,000m2.
In 2019, we set up our 2,500mt2 cardboard stock warehouse in Hadımköy.
